J. Wesson Ashford, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Ashford is a global leader in the early detection, diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and dementia, specializing in cognition testing and dementia screening. He chairs the Screening Subcommittee of the National Alzheimer's Disease Foundation and advocates community memory screening. He is the author of over 80 scientific publications. Dr. Ashford is currently Senior Research Scientist and Staff Psychiatrist at Stanford University/VA Alzheimer's Center, Palo Alto, CA.
H. Christian Fibiger, Ph.D.
Dr. Fibiger is most recently Senior Vice-President, Chief Scientific Officer of Biovail Laboratories International SRL; he is a Fellow of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and before Vice-President and Global Therapeutic Area Head of Neuroscience for Amgen Inc. He has served as Professor and Head of the Division of Neurological Sciences and Chair of the University Graduate Program in Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Fibiger has authored or co-authored over 400 publications and has made numerous contributions to neuroscience research.
William Z. Potter, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Potter is the former Vice President in Neuroscience at Merck Research Laboratories and before he held the position of Head of Early Clinical Development at Eli Lilly and Company. He currently serves on various boards to advance development of novel CNS drugs for serious disorders such as Alzheimer's, Schizophrenia and Manic-Depressive Illness and has participated in the past on numerous boards and societies including the Founding and Governing Board of the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Potter has authored over 250 publications in neuroscience and has made numerous contributions to neuroscience research.
Randall Schapiro, M.D.
Dr. Schapiro brings an exceptional combination of clinical and academic experience to the problems of diagnosing and treating multiple sclerosis. A world-renown multiple sclerosis specialist, with over 70 published papers in the scientific literature, he has leadership positions in numerous national medical organizations including the American Academy of Neurology, where he is fellow. Dr. Schapiro is currently the Director of the Schapiro Center for Multiple Sclerosis at the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology.
Richard Golden, M.D.
Dr. Golden is a practicing Neurologist at the Noran Neurological Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Golden's extensive practice includes many patients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. He serves as a member of the Alzheimer's Association Board of Directors and has prior experience as an investigator in Alzheimer's disease clinical trials. His broad experience treating patients and their caregivers brings critical "real world" experience to our Medical Advisory Board.
Steve Lebow, M.D.
Dr. Lebow is the Chief Medical Officer of Orasi Medical. He is a Board Certified Adult Neurologist with thirty years of clinical practice. He continues to care for patients at the Noran Neurological Clinic. He has served on the Medical Services Review Board at the Minnesota Department of Labor and has been on the Medical Advisory Board of the MS Society. Dr. Lebow was the clinical research director at the Noran Clinic and participated in several FDA supervised pre-release clinical drug trials. Dr. Lebow obtained his medical degree from the University of Minnesota.
